Brayden Salgueiro is the Captain and Skipper of the yacht Nereo, and a co-founder of Nereo Horizon, Lda. With a lifelong connection to the sea, Brayden has been building hands-on nautical experience since the age of 17, shaped in large part by his service in Portugal’s Navy as a Fuzileiro.

On every trip, Brayden is the constant presence on board — welcoming guests, reading the conditions, and tailoring each journey so it feels effortless, personal, and truly memorable. He combines calm authority with a warm, charismatic manner: attentive, friendly, and naturally protective of the people in his care.
